Internet Giant Google is ready to enter in Cell phone market by launching Google Phone which is Android base. Google is preparing their own branded cell phone that they will trade through resellers. Basic Cellphones Able To Use Smart Application Of SMS

In a world of smart phones, text messaging might seem prosaic. But SMS could be used to bring internet-based services to users with basic handsets. Nokia building a network protocol that will enable basic series cell phone to connect via Sms   with internet server. It will particular helpful in countries like India where lots of people have cell phones but few can afford advance series phone with gprs facility.

Gprs enable phones connect to internet server and if you send message through gprs it would be cheap. One Face book-like app lets people text to find friends who are in the area. The system would use location information based on the nearest cell phone base stations to send a response. It would also helpful in finding near by ATM , Restaurant , Movie halls. It doesn’t give static information the character limit for text messages restricts how much information can be exchanged.

The system can locate a person using it to within 300 meters in cities with a high density of cell phone base stations, such as Bangalore, India.

GPS-enabled phones offer better accuracy – down to 10 meters but users would not be fazed by the relative lack of accuracy in his system.
