Hyderabad based Indian company Notion Ink is ready to debut in Tablet pc market by launching Adam in June 2010. Here we present official specification of Notion Ink Adam which is unveiled officially at MWC and marked as final by Notion Ink.

First Tablet Pc in India by Notion Ink

Notion Ink, a Hyderabad-based company, has developed the first touch screen Tablet PC named ADAM, which uses Google's Android Open Source Operating system. The tablet PC was developed by six IITians and an MBA. It will be displayed at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January 2010 and is marked with a price tag of $325. The ADAM is expected to be launched by the company in June 2010. Notion Ink was floated in February 2009 and has made a big buzz in technology. The new tablet PC has a 10.1-inch touch screen. It is power-driven by Nvidia’s Tegra processor chip and offers features like Bluetooth, a 3-megapixel digital camera with auto focus, video recording and 32GB data storage. The PC has 48 hours of standby, eight hours of high-definition video and 16 hours of Wi-Fi Internet surfing usage time. Notion Ink developed this tablet PC in collaboration with Bangalore-based National Institute of Design (NID)

Notion Ink is setting up the Adam to be a very desirable device. Not content with the new screen and Tegra it will also have GPS, digital compass, speakers, microphone, and Carrying one around won’t be a burden as it weighs just 770 grams and is 0.6″ thick. The touch screen tablet PC will bring a new revolution in India, as it is all set to attract a huge consumer base.
