Microsoft Office is an office suite of interrelated desktop application services and server for Mac Osx and Microsoft Window. First version of office was launched in 1987 for Mac os. Microsoft is preparing to launch its Application package Office 2010. It’s code named as office 14. Try Google Chrome os

Internet Giant Google  launched chrome os but its open source which is available for download and you can test it and customized according to your requirement. Full version may be launched in first quarter of 2010.

You need a virtual box software which is free and available for Macs, PCs, and Linux. First of all you need a image of chrome os and you can download it from this torrent . In mac you don’t need any software to extract it but in windows you need Win Rar. After downloading chrome you will need virtual box for whatever os you are running on. For installing google chrome os you can register (or decline).

Internet Could run out of Web Address next Year

The world could well run out of Internet addresses next year, unless urgent action is taken to switch to a new generation of net addresses, the European Commission has warned.

According to Commission IPv4  is currently used technique which is used to assign web address  needed to  meliorate to new Internet Protocol version IPv6.  IPv6 is ameliorate  technology  because it hugely increase available address it supports 340 trillion, trillion, trillion web addresses .

Few companies are ready to migrate but few are not interested in migrating from current to future technology. Commission told only 17% of European player migrated to new technology . IPv4 uses 32 bit address scheme which enable web to support around 4.3 billion web address but due to increasing of sites we may switch to new regime IPv6 which uses 128 bit address scheme creating billions of possible new web addresses.

Commission said that “Only by ensuring that all devices connected to the internet are compatible with IPv6 can we stay connected and safeguard sustainable growth of the Internet and the global digital economy, now and in the years to come."

Basic Cellphones Able To Use Smart Application Of SMS

In a world of smart phones, text messaging might seem prosaic. But SMS could be used to bring internet-based services to users with basic handsets. Nokia building a network protocol that will enable basic series cell phone to connect via Sms   with internet server. It will particular helpful in countries like India where lots of people have cell phones but few can afford advance series phone with gprs facility.

Gprs enable phones connect to internet server and if you send message through gprs it would be cheap. One Face book-like app lets people text to find friends who are in the area. The system would use location information based on the nearest cell phone base stations to send a response. It would also helpful in finding near by ATM , Restaurant , Movie halls. It doesn’t give static information the character limit for text messages restricts how much information can be exchanged.

The system can locate a person using it to within 300 meters in cities with a high density of cell phone base stations, such as Bangalore, India.

GPS-enabled phones offer better accuracy – down to 10 meters but users would not be fazed by the relative lack of accuracy in his system. In us location means complete address but in India it means only area                                  "For a lot of people in India, the cell phone is the first communication device and slowly it might also become a computing device”.

In western Countries this type of application is not feasible because they use laptop or smart phones but countries like India sms are only feasible option. User of cell phone in India is approx 400 Million and just 30 Million have computers or Laptops  .

Unique Identification Authority of India

UIDAI is an Indian agency who is responsible for implementing the envisioned multi purpose National identity card or unique identity card project in India. It was established in February 2009. Agency will own and operate the unique identity databases.

Agency will aim to provide UID(Unique Identity Card) as a number not as a smart card. You got a letter at your door step that says its your UID and you can store it any where. The number is useless without biometric information if some one stole your UID don’t worry its useless for him/her. This is unique number which is used to confirm that you are citizen of republic of India
It based on some biometric information like eyes (irises) and all 10 fingerprints. It will record your Name, Age, Sex, Permanent and Present Address based on documents already accepted for age and address proof.
Labor ministry  has offered its verified EPFO ( Employment Provident Fund)database of 42 million citizens to agency as the first database to be integrated into the unique ID system

Once recorded, your ID can be established electronically. For Example you go for a shopping and after completion of shopping you go to Billing counter and you give your credit card if you have a UID ,shopkeeper ask you to put your finger on finger print reader and it will identify you.
