Brain Scanner Cap

It can tell you in 1 hour if their is anything wrong with your child’s brain function. It looks like an ordinary baseball cap. This technology was developed by Harvard’s University Children’s Hospital in Boston. This cap will tell parents whether their child actually suffer from mental disorder like dyslexia, autism etc or just simple disease that is completely treatable.

Technology based on EEG (electro encephalography ) – which shows brain’s electrical activity -- allowing doctors to see the children brain as it performs functions including language processing , auditory, attention & visual. Accuracy is the key aspect of this cap. It measures even the slightest abnormalities in any of those functions to provide the most accurate result.

Currently observable behaviors used to diagnosis child’s brain but this method can not tell exactly what’s going on. This technology is currently used in usa and Dr. Shankardass is presently in India to talk to Max and Apollo hospital to bring this technology to India.

According to Dr. shankardass it was strange that mental disorder diagnosed solely by looking at behavioral symptoms, resulting improper treatment. In India 74 million children are suffered from development disorders.

This cap is a new revolution in neurology and its use can pinpoint a cause. ECG looks like a baseball cap with 32 channel sensor nets. ECG measuring millisecond by millisecond electrical activity generated by brain. These activities are used by a program called Brain Activity Mapping then triangulate the source of abnormal activity in the brain.
